Instructions
Preheat Oven: Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper or lightly grease a baking dish.
Prepare the Brown Sugar Mixture: In a small bowl, mix together the brown sugar, minced garlic, smoked paprika, salt, and black pepper.
Wrap the Chicken in Bacon:
Rub the brown sugar mixture evenly over each chicken breast.
Wrap each chicken breast with 2 slices of bacon, slightly overlapping to secure. If needed, use toothpicks to hold the bacon in place.
Optional Sear: Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium heat. Sear the wrapped chicken breasts for 1-2 minutes per side to crisp the bacon slightly.
Bake:
Transfer the chicken breasts to the prepared baking sheet or dish.
Bake in the preheated oven for 25-30 minutes, or until the chicken is cooked through and reaches an internal temperature of 165°F (74°C).
Optional Broil: For extra crispy bacon, turn the oven to broil for the last 2-3 minutes of cooking. Keep a close eye to avoid burning.
Serve: Let the chicken rest for 5 minutes before serving. Pair with a side of roasted vegetables, mashed potatoes, or rice.
